Empyrean Brand turns Brand from a charred, human-looking pyromancer into a faceless, gem-like celestial being; his robes and cracked skin are replaced by a glossy, skintight suit that shimmers between purple, cyan, and orange and a clean white flame rises where his face would be.
In-game, the spell VFX shift from raw ember and ash to shimmering, otherworldly cosmic fire—reminiscent of Street Demons Brand but in a purple-dark theme. Q (Sear) appears as a purple-blue arrow, nothing particularly groundbreaking. His W (Pillar of Flame), however, really sells this skin—it creates a small black hole with a swirling vortex effect toward the middle that erupts in purple flames when the cast time ends. E (Conflagration) looks like a pyre bursting from beneath your feet. R (Pyroclasm) is very similar to Q, and the blast effects on targets have a paint-splatter quality. His Passive (Blaze) features a nice falling star effect on the edge that counts down to detonation. Overall, it's a really solid skin, though it feels a bit too similar to Street Demons Brand for comfort—especially considering they were released just one year apart.
His recall animation, the only unique animation in this skin, references his lore by showing him setting entire universes ablaze as he throws his flame through a portal.
Sound design and voice work keep the same Brand lines but add a voice filter and updated SFX.

Empyrean Brand is a strong pick if you enjoy neon cosmic fire visuals with dramatic VFX. It moves away from his usual "burning man" aesthetic, and the W (Pillar of Flame) and Passive animations bring something genuinely fresh and exciting. The W vortex effect even provides a visual timer for when it will erupt, which is a nice touch once you're familiar with the skin. That said, I'd rate it a solid 7/10—it doesn't bring anything revolutionary and feels somewhat derivative given its similarity to Street Demons Brand, released just a year prior.
