Three Honors Akshan reimagines the Rogue Sentinel as a decorated guardian of sportsmanship, trading his base olive-and-leather gear for a dark blue coat, red sash, and a luminous purple cape etched with a beast-like mask. In-game, the palette leans to midnight blues, crimsons, and bright amethyst, so his shots, grapple, and stealth leave sleek violet traces that stand out clearly against the map; compared to base Akshan’s more grounded VFX, these look cleaner and more ceremonial. The cape mask nods to the Three Honors motif, giving him a heroic, award-like silhouette without changing his silhouette readability. This is an Honor reward skin rather than a holiday line, so it’s tied to the end-of-season Honor system instead of events like Snowdown or Spirit Blossom, and it adds subtle honor-crest cues to ability effects for a cohesive look.
Release date: January 24, 2024; it launched as the end-of-season Honor Level 5 reward, distributed through Honor capsules to eligible players instead of the shop. As with other Honor exclusives, availability follows the Honor season schedule and may be regranted in later seasons to new Honor 5 players.
From 2017 season Medieval Twitch and Grey Warwick, previously rare skins, were was made available as a reward for reaching Honor 5. From 2017–2021 Riot released rare chromas tied to Honor 5; starting in 2022 they introduced the Three Honors skin line as the new Honor-exclusive reward track.
Current system (2025): Upon reaching Honor level 5 you are automatically granted all Honor skins you don’t already own — no Honor Tokens or Token Shop required.
All Honor 5 skins:
Note: Unique Honor 5 chromas from past years (for Medieval Twitch and Grey Warwick) were tied to the now-retired Honor 5 Token Shop and are no longer obtainable since tokens were sunset after Patch 25.6.
Historical (legacy) info — Honor 5 Token Shop (2019–2024)
This shop is now retired, but for completeness these were the one-token redemptions:
In 2022 Riot announced the shift from annual chromas to the new Three Honors skin line; tokens at the time still worked for Twitch/Warwick and their older chromas only.
Season 9 note: In patch V9.16 only, opening an Honor 5 Capsule granted two Honor 5 tokens; players who reached Honor 5 before V9.16 received the two tokens in V9.17 while keeping the capsule skin.
Yes, it’s rare because it’s not sold and is only granted to Honor Level 5 players at the end of the season, which limits how many accounts receive it each year; collectors often value such reward-only skins higher than shop skins, and you can check availability here Buy LoL Skin Accounts.
No, it’s not in Hextech crafting or Mystery Gifts; the only way to get it is by reaching Honor Level 5 and receiving the seasonal Honor reward on your account, though you can also look for accounts that already have it.
If you want a reward-only look with clean purple VFX, this is a standout, but many players also like Cyber Pop Akshan for its neon tech theme and punchy effects, and Crystal Rose Akshan for its refined formal outfit and elegant color work; to compare them all, see All Akshan Skins.
Legacy skins are still obtainable thanks to our high end account store which features League of Legends accounts with the rarest skins at the best prices.
