Pentakill III: Lost Chapter Kayle dresses the Judicator for the stage, trading bright holy armor for dark performance plate lined in gold filigree and cool blue accents. Her wings shift to deep purple with metal ridging and a polished sheen, and her sword becomes a pair of black-and-silver guitar-blades, giving her silhouette a sharper, rock-star profile than base Kayle’s radiant paladin look.
In game, the skin pushes fiery gray and ghostly VFX across the kit, so Q throws a gold-gray sword, W glows with a ghostly green, E paints slashes with gray burst, and R bursts with a concert light beam creating an arena with border marked by images of Kayle's sword. New guitar-driven SFX add crunchy riffs, pick scrapes, and amp-like feedback to attacks and spells feel heavier than the base skin’s clean, angelic audio.
The custom recall leans into concert theatrics as she riffs, poses, and takes flight, matching the skinline’s heavy metal fantasy. As part of the Pentakill III: Lost Chapter lineup, it mirrors album-cover aesthetics and live-show armor, nodding to classic metal stagewear and dual-axe guitar imagery. Eight chromas—Aquamarine, Catseye, Emerald, Obsidian, Pearl, Rose Quartz, Ruby, and Tanzanite—shift the armor tones and wing hues if you want a brighter or darker finish.
The skin also has unique heavy metal emotes which is uncommon for a 1350 Epic Skin. On top of that it features full model transformations along with her ult at level 6, 11 and 16.
Release date: September 9, 2021, launched alongside the Pentakill III: Lost Chapter event and music release.
Champion update note: Kayle received a full relaunch in V9.5 (2019), bringing new models, animations, VFX/SFX, and lore that affect how all of her skins present in-game.
Pentakill turns League champions into a heavy metal band, complete with stage armor, guitars-as-weapons, arena lighting, and pyrotechnic VFX that feel like a live show. The lineup features Karthus (vocals), Kayle (co-vocals), Mordekaiser (lead guitar), Yorick (bass), Sona (keys), and Olaf (drums), with effects that look and sound like a concert.
This universe spans multiple releases and eras: Pentakill (the classic look), Pentakill II: Grasp of the Undying (album/lore era), Pentakill III: Lost Chapter (2021 refresh), and the crossover Dissonance of Pentakill featuring Viego. Trivia: the band has in‑universe albums (2014, 2017, 2021) and even a superfans angle with Pentakill Superfan Gnar.
It’s a Common 1350 RP Epic skin that stays in the shop, so it’s not rare. You can also find it in loot, but constant availability keeps its collector value modest—if you want an account with it pre‑unlocked, check curated options here: Buy LoL Skin Accounts.
Yes. It can drop as a shard from Hextech/Masterwork chests, appear in event orbs/capsules, be rerolled, and show up in Mystery Gifts; direct purchase in the shop is still the most reliable path. If you’d rather skip the grind, browse verified accounts here: Buy LoL Accounts.
It’s great if you like metal themes and fiery VFX. The additional benefit is the extra effects you get that are almost comparable to Legendary skin in terms of animations and model quality. The only part that's missing to reach that skin tier is a new voice over. It's a great skin and the value for money is amazing, but some players prefer Aether Wing Kayle (Legendary) for its full animation/VO treatment or PsyOps Kayle for clean sci‑fi visuals—compare them all here: All Kayle Skins. If you want to buy an account with your favorite already unlocked, see: Buy LoL Skin Accounts.
Legacy skins are still obtainable thanks to our high end account store which features League of Legends accounts with the rarest skins at the best prices.
