Dragon Knight Mordekaiser was originally released in early 2010, which makes it one of the oldest skins in League of Legends. The skin was popular at the time of its release, but now since it is retired and got moved to the legacy vault, it no longer has the same popularity. Also, the skin got a rework and models changed significantly.
Before the rework, it can be seen that Dragon Knight Mordekaiser looked like a completely different skin. The weapons, armor, general colors of the skin were totally different. Here is the picture of the old version of the skin:

With this look, we can say that the skin appeared much simpler as there was no special gear. After the rework, the skin got a complete change with different textures and models but still in the “Dragon Knight” theme. As can be seen from the pictures below, the weapon was changed to a huge hammer that had a dark color and looked more realistic texturally with its shining colors in blue.
As for the effects, there were no new effects on animations or in sounds. But we got a new particle for the Creeping Death ability which gave a unique look to the skin. So even though there are no changes in animation, the way the skin shines and gives a unique liveliness to the champion makes it very attractive to play.
Keep in mind that the skin is currently unavailable in the official LoL store and it is in the legacy vault.
