Riot Games has officially launched the 2XKO Closed Beta, starting September 9, 2025. Players who registered for early access can now log in with their Riot Account to see if they’ve been selected to join.
The Closed Beta marks a big step forward for 2XKO, bringing the game online at scale for the first time. While there may still be bugs along the way, Riot plans to keep servers running outside of maintenance windows.
At this stage, the beta is available only on PC. Anyone who took part in previous Alpha Lab playtests—on PC or console—already has access. New waves of players will continue to be invited throughout the beta period.
All progress, including Ranked and Champion Mastery, will reset when the beta ends, but participants will receive an exclusive “Challenger” title at launch.
A core roster of champions will be available from day one, including Ahri, Braum, Darius, Ekko, Illaoi, and Yasuo. Others, like Jinx, Blitzcrank, and Vi, can be unlocked through in-game tokens and credits.
Players can dive into tutorials, try out new offline modes, and look forward to Ranked mode going live on September 18. Match replays and cosmetic unlocks are also making their debut.
The Closed Beta is the start of 2XKO’s gradual rollout, with Riot aiming to expand access to more players over time. Fans can sign up for future invites on the official beta hub: 2xko.riotgames.com/en-us/beta
There is no official release date yet, other than that it will be sometime in the 2025. However our sources claim it will be around late November / Early December 2025.
