These images show Uncle Ryze’s model and how his abilities look in-game. The visuals stay true to base Ryze’s spell effects while the model carries the patriotic theme.

Uncle Ryze wraps Ryze in a star-spangled suit with a tall top hat, striped pants, a sash, and gold trim. The scroll on his back is retextured to resemble the Declaration of Independence, and a money wallet hangs at his side, pushing the satire further. Compared to base Ryze’s mystical robes and parchment, the suit’s fabric and metallic accents stand out with crisp reds, whites, and blues.
In-game, spells use the standard blue/purple rune energy from Ryze’s post-V6.14 kit, so the model does the heavy lifting while casting. The look is playful and references classic “I Want You” Uncle Sam posters, but it’s not tied to any seasonal event. There are no unique ability VFX or SFX; the core appeal is the bold costume over a familiar spell feel.
Release date: March 7, 2010. The skin received a new splash around V1.0.0.141 and benefitted from Ryze’s third rework in V1.0.0.139. It was also refreshed during Ryze’s V6.14 Visual & Gameplay Update, which added a new splash, voiceover, lore, model update, animations, and global VFX/SFX improvements.
Uncle Ryze is grouped under the “Wonders of the World” skinline. Wonders of the World is a series of alternate future/universe skins in League of Legends, set in an alternate Earth where each champion represents the culture of a real-world nation. These skins playfully reinterpret champions as cultural icons or landmarks, often with humorous or exaggerated themes. Trivia: Many of the skins in this line were originally released as standalone cultural references and were later unified under the Wonders of the World universe.
Uncle Ryze is Common. It’s purchasable in the shop for 520 RP and appears in loot, so it isn’t considered rare. If you’re looking to buy an account that already owns it, check out Buy LoL Skin Accounts.
Yes. Since it’s not legacy, it can drop from Hextech crafting, orbs, and Mystery Gifts, though drops are never guaranteed. You can also find accounts with the skin on Buy LoL Accounts.
It’s a fun budget pick if you like the patriotic look, but many players prefer modern effects from premium skins. Popular alternatives include Arcana Ryze for stylish VFX and Dark Crystal Ryze for a darker fantasy style; you can browse them on All Ryze Skins.
