Warden Nautilus replaces the deep-sea diver look of base Nautilus with a knightly suit of silver and gold armor. Blue highlights glow from the visor, joints, and engravings, while the anchor is reforged into a halberd-like hook with sharp, gilded edges, giving him a noble, paladin feel on the Rift.
In-game, the silhouette is cleaner and brighter than base, trading rusty browns and orange lights for steel tones, gold trim, and royal blue accents. Ability visuals remain the same as base, so the theme sells itself through the striking model, ornate weapon, and the crisp SFX polish added in patch 10.3.
This skin is part of the Warden vs. Marauder thematic and is not tied to a specific seasonal event. It doesn’t hide any overt pop-culture jokes; the nods are to classic paladin aesthetics and ceremonial armor design.
Release date: 17 February 2015. It received a texture update in V4.17 and an SFX polish pass in V10.3 to make ability sounds clearer and more consistent.
Warden Nautilus is not rare; it’s a Common skin sold in the store for 750 RP. It has no event lock or legacy status, so availability is steady year-round. If you want an account with it already unlocked, check the Buy LoL Skin Accounts marketplace.
Warden and Marauder are companion skinlines rooted in League of Legends’ old lore. They represent two opposing forces: the Wardens, oath-bound enforcers of order and justice, and the Marauders, brutal inheritors of the Magelord empire’s savage traditions. These skins embody a clash of law versus chaos, discipline versus violence, all tied back to the early Institute of War setting.
Wardens trace their origin to the ancient Protectorate, a faction devoted to law and order, founded to halt the rise of the Magelords. Though the Protectorate crumbled, champions still don its enchanted armor, carrying on its legacy. In contrast, Marauders are the last remnants of Magelord culture, nomadic warbands who discarded discipline in favor of endless violence. Their rivalry reflects a conflict that shaped the world in Runeterra’s old canon.
Yes. Because it’s not legacy, it’s in the standard loot pool—so you can roll it from Hextech chests, upgrade a skin shard, or receive it via Mystery Gift. You can also buy accounts that already own it from Buy LoL Accounts if you prefer a guaranteed option.
It’s a clean budget pick with a strong knightly identity, but many players also favor Astronautilus for its playful space theme and custom effects, or Shan Hai Scrolls Nautilus for its ornate mythic art style and richer VFX. See a full comparison on All Nautilus Skins.
Legacy skins are still obtainable thanks to our high end account store which features League of Legends accounts with the rarest skins at the best prices.
