Arcane Last Stand Ekko recreates Ekko’s look from the closing scene of Arcane Season 2, Episode 9, with his dreads pulled into a ponytail and a short hoodie that borrows Jinx’s pink-and-cyan palette and street-graffiti motifs. Compared to base Ekko, the silhouette is familiar but the textures are cleaner and the colors are brighter, shifting the character from grungy street-tech to a more stylized, neon-tinged Arcane finish.
The model adds small props and trims that aren’t on base Ekko: dangling bunny ears on the hood, purple-and-gold tones on the Z‑Drive blade, and smoother cloth shading on the hoodie and pants to match the show look. VFX lean simpler and lighter than Ekko’s usual heavy time-glow; abilities use blues and purples with occasional pink-and-cyan highlights, W stamps a spray-painted Firelights symbol, and the ultimate’s afterimage includes a clear Jinx-styled X in pink and cyan.
Animation changes make the skin feel cinematic: the ultimate has a wind-up where Ekko charges the Z‑Drive, he zips around on his board and rewinds before throwing the device, and homeguard shows him riding the board into lane, which ties directly to the Season 2 ending. The autoattack was updated in V5.13 to match the new weapon styling, and there are no major new voiceover tracks noted for this release.
This skin sits in the Arcane skinline and directly references the show and other characters via palette and graffiti touches, specifically nodding to Jinx and the Firelights imagery from Arcane; the most unique in-game pieces are the W’s graffiti symbol, the ultimate’s Jinx X afterimage, and the board homeguard animation.
Release date: November 12, 2024.
Availability notes: The main skin was purchasable for 1350 RP in the shop, while the Paragon variant was obtainable through the Sanctum event; no broader loot-exclusive paths were listed. No re-releases up until October 2025 and is currently unavailable in the shop, but it's supposed to return again in 2025 on Nov 19.
Arcane is the TV-show themed skinline based on Riot's Arcane series. Champions appear as the characters fans saw in Piltover and Zaun. The look, VFX, and story tie directly to events from the show.
Lore (short): Piltover and Zaun are split by power, invention, and pain. Arcane skins show characters shaped by that conflict — inventors, enforcers, and undercity fighters. The skins reflect grief, revenge, and the fight for the city's future.
Trivia: The Arcane set launched with several 975 RP skins tied to the RiotX Arcane promotion. Later releases added higher-tier variations (legendary, epic, and prestige-style releases) and story-driven variants for characters like Jayce, Vi, Caitlyn, Jinx, Ekko, Viktor, and Warwick.
Arcane Last Stand Ekko is an Epic-tier skin listed at 1350 RP. It's also time-limited to an event and is not likely to return on a yearly basis. It's supposed to return only once on anniversary of Season 2 release date and will be retired afterwards. That's why we rate it as a semi-rare skin. Yes. Because Arcane Last Stand Ekko is an Epic (1350 RP) and not a limited release, it can drop as a shard via Hextech crafting and can be given via Mystery Gift when available.
That depends on what you want. Arcane Last Stand Ekko is a great pick if you like the Arcane look and lore. I personally love it due to very different VFX vibe and arcane themed paint splashes.
