PAX Jax Lol Skin

PAX Jax is a rare skin that was gifted to visitors who attended the PAX gaming event.

This skin was gifted to people who attended the Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) in 2010. Back when skin codes were available for League of Legends Riot would give out free skins at each year's PAX event to attendees. Thousands of people attended this event every year and not everyone who attended played LoL. Many skin codes were left unused and expired while some were sold online through 3rd parties which sold for hundreds of dollars.

The skin is a reference to the Cardboard Tube Samurai from the webcomic Penny Arcade. The webcomic focuses on videogames and video game culture in general. The Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) was created by the creators of Penny Arcade and the skin links them both together. There is also a symbol on the skin that resembles the classic video character Pac-Man.

The skin features no new particles, animations or sounds but does have a slight model change for his new weapon, a cardboard tube. Jax shares the PAX theme with Sivir and Twisted Fate which have been gifts for the other PAX events.

Currently PAX Jax is no longer available as the skin codes were disabled in 2014. There is no indication that this skin will be returning to the store so the only way to obtain this skin is to buy an account with it already redeemed.
