Perseus Pantheon reframes the Targonian warrior as a classic Greek hero. Compared to base Pantheon’s bronze, red‑trimmed look, this skin goes bright and regal: gleaming gold plates with crisp edges, a horned helmet that reminences a gold laurel wreath, a deep blue cape, and a medusa head on the shield. The spear reads cleaner and lighter with a pale blue glow, which makes his silhouette pop in motion and fits the heroic theme.
In game, the skin rides on Pantheon’s updated base effects, so ability readability stays the same while the gold and blue palette from the model subtly tints weapon trails and impacts. There are no skin‑unique animations or voice additions; it’s a straightforward visual swap with a strong mythic identity.
The skin sits in the Fables line, which nods to folklore and mythic heroes; it references Greek myth broadly rather than a single set piece, with the medusa crest and heroic blue‑gold palette selling the legend vibe without extra gimmicks.
Release date: February 11, 2010.
V9.16: Champion relaunch — new splash art, new model, updated voiceover, refreshed VFX/SFX, and reworked abilities across all Pantheon skins.
Fables is a myth-inspired alternate universe where champions become gods, heroes, monsters, and spirits from folklore around the world. The look leans into storybook styling, clear silhouettes, and readable effects that feel timeless.
The line spans many cultures and micro-thematics, like Valkyries (Leona, Diana), Greek heroes (Pantheon), river spirits (Nami), and folklore creatures (Veigar, Cho'Gath). Each skin suggests legends might be real—just hidden from view.
Lore highlights include tragic river guardians, exiled valkyries, and mortal champions who steal power from the gods. Trivia: Nami Iara expands the universe with a full Brazilian-inspired tale; several older comedic or seasonal skins were later folded into Fables; Perseus Pantheon directly echoes Greek myth with sacred relics and a pegasus.
Perseus Pantheon is a common skin. It's no longer available in the shop, but it was very popular and can be easily unlocked via Loot. It’s a Legacy skin that was worth 750 RP when it when it was available for sale. Now you’ll mainly find it through loot. It also received visual updates in V9.16 to match modern Pantheon. If you want it pre-unlocked, browse curated accounts here: Buy LoL Skin Accounts.
Yes. As a Legacy skin, it can drop from Hextech/Masterwork chests, event orbs, and rerolls, and it can appear in Mystery Gifts. Drops are not guaranteed, but it’s eligible whenever it’s in the loot pool; to skip the grind, you can also check verified accounts here: Buy LoL Accounts.
It's a great skin after the full gameplay and visual update of Pantheon. The model is much higher quality than the price would suggest. You can no longer unlock this skin in the shop so if you get it from loot I would unlock it. If you want flash and effects, Dragonslayer Pantheon goes bigger with heavy armor and fiery VFX. For laughs and giggles, Baker Pantheon is a fan favorite. Compare them with the full list here: All Pantheon Skins.
Legacy skins are still obtainable thanks to our high end account store which features League of Legends accounts with the rarest skins at the best prices.
