Snow Moon Kayn wraps the champion in a chilling cult aesthetic. The base model shows black and crimson armor trimmed with silver, a bone-white mask, and an ornate scythe with clean, porcelain-like textures. When he becomes Rhaast, demonic red claws and curved horns push through the armor; Shadow Assassin flips to long white hair, pale tattoos, and an ice-blue, glowing scythe. Compared to base Kayn, the colors trade the usual red/blue split for icy whites and light-cyan with soft pink undertones, which makes his form swaps stand out sharply in fights.
VFX and SFX are fully updated. Abilities use white and light-cyan energy with subtle pink bloom, giving Q and W a crisp, frosted slash, E a spectral glide, and R a ritual burst that reads cleanly on the map. The skin includes a custom recall where Kayn performs a Snow Moon rite. It’s part of the Snow Moon thematic (a cold, occult counterpart to blood-red ritual lines) and is not tied to a limited seasonal event.
Release date: June 23, 2022. It launched alongside other Snow Moon skins and received four chromas at release (Amethyst, Meteorite, Obsidian, Ruby).
Snow Moon skins share a serene, dangerous ritual theme: cold moonlight, occult masks, pale sigils, and sharp metallic trims. The line focuses on clean, icy VFX and ceremonial outfits.

Snow Moon Kayn is not rare. It’s a 1350 RP shop skin that appears regularly and also shows up in loot, so it’s classified as Common. If you want accounts with this skin, see Buy LoL Skin Accounts.
Yes. Since it isn’t a limited skin, it can drop from Hextech chests as a shard, be rerolled from three shards, or appear in Mystery Gifts and event orbs/capsules. You can also find ready accounts on LoL Accounts.
It’s a strong pick if you like icy, clean VFX with clear form identity. If you prefer louder visuals and deeper VO/animation changes, Odyssey Kayn and Nightbringer Kayn are very popular alternatives with heavier thematics. For a full list and comparisons, see All Kayn Skins.
Legacy skins are still obtainable thanks to our high end account store which features League of Legends accounts with the rarest skins at the best prices.
