Prestige Blood Moon Aatrox turns the Darkin into the Blood Moon’s prime demon god, dressed in pale ritual finery instead of the base skin’s heavy red-black warplate. The model leans into white hair, a horned crown tipped with golden crescents, a white sash tied with a rope belt, and bronze gauntlets, while the sword becomes a massive dark blade lined with gold trim and a red grip.
In game, the VFX swap the usual deep reds for dusty oranges and soft whites, giving each strike a clean, ceremonial glow. Q’s three slams show bright white slashes and embered impact rings, W’s snare pops with a quick white-orange sigil, E leaves a faint pale streak, and R wraps Aatrox in a holy-ritual aura with drifting embers and a brighter transform glow.
The SFX are refreshed to fit the ritual theme—sharper swings and airy chimes—while the voice remains the rework VO without new lines. The custom recall finishes the fantasy with a brief summoning rite, reinforcing the Prestige twist on the Blood Moon style’s masks, crescents, and shrine iconography.
Compared to the standard Blood Moon Aatrox, this Prestige version shifts the palette to white and gold with subtle orange embers, reads cleaner on hit effects, and pushes a divine, exalted look over the usual crimson menace. It fits neatly into the Blood Moon skinline while standing out as the ceremonial “god-form” take.
Release date: October 1, 2019.
V8.13: Aatrox received a full relaunch (new model, splash, VO, and VFX/SFX), which this skin builds on.
Mythic Shop update: After the Prestige system rework, the skin appears during rotations for 150+ Mythic Essence instead of being obtainable through the old Prestige currency. There are slight model differences between the two.
Moons of Ionia is an alternate-universe set rooted in Ionia. Champions appear as masked cultists or full demons tied to moonlit rites, with sharp white, red, black, and gold palettes, crescent motifs, and occult sigils. The tone mixes ritual pageantry with horror and possession.
This universe has two linked thematics: Blood Moon (Ionian cultists and demons during a night festival) and Snow Moon (a rival order that “purifies” by stripping emotion and binding spirits). The line traces back to Journal of Justice festival notes and grew into a full mythos with cult leaders, priestesses, and hellish entities.
This skin is Semi-Rare because it isn’t in the regular shop and only returns in the Mythic Shop for 150+ Mythic Essence, so supply stays limited and demand steady among collectors. This skin is less expensive and not as rare as the 2022 version! If you want an account with it already unlocked, check out Buy LoL Skin Accounts.
You can’t buy it directly from the store, but you can grab it during Mythic Shop rotations for 150 ME and very rarely roll it from loot; if you’d rather skip the grind, you can also look for accounts that already own it here: Buy LoL Accounts.
It’s a top pick if you like the Blood Moon theme and a cleaner, ceremonial look. Some players prefer the sci‑fi bulk of Mecha Aatrox, while others like the celestial style of Lunar Eclipse Aatrox—compare them all here: All Aatrox Skins.
Legacy skins are still obtainable thanks to our high end account store which features League of Legends accounts with the rarest skins at the best prices.
