DRX Ashe Details

This skin is Beryl's tribute to Elysia from Honkai Impact 3rd. Beryl is a huge fan of HoYoverse gacha games and officially asked Riot if he can take an inspiration from a different game. You can read more about Beryl's love for Gacha games and his inspiration for the skin here.

DRX Ashe dresses her in a ceremonial, championship-ready outfit that swaps her usual ranger leather for a dark blue and gold dress with white accents and a layered cape. The skin gives her pink hair and a glowing horned tiara. It's an uncommon skin for a support main, but it was a staple pick for Beryl during that worlds. Her bow becomes an oversized angular weapon built from translucent crystal blades with a glowing blue string.

In play, the skin shifts the usual icy theme to a more crystalline look: basic attacks leave translucent blade trails. Throughout all abilities the team's logo - X is a key element. In her Q arrows snap with sharp-edged crystal particles marking the target with a small X and blue-white flares, W pulses with a blue X upon hit, E (Hawkshot) looks like a bone dragon with an icy trail, and R fires a long, bright crystalline bolt that flashes team's logo on hit. Sound design follows suit with crisper, glass-like impact SFX rather than only muffled frost sounds.

DRX Ashe has a custom recall animation with her pulling out a camera and taking few selfies while team's logo and Beryl signature appear beneath the character model. She then gives the images to someone, presumably Beryl himself!

This skin is part of the World Champions 2022 lineup, made to celebrate DRX’s win at Worlds, so the colors and crown motif tie directly to that celebration rather than to a pop-culture joke. The horned tiara and gold trim nod to team branding and a trophy theme more than to any outside media. Unique features include the custom recall (which showcases the championship motif) and the new VFX/SFX set that distinguishes it from other Ashe skins, while voice lines remain the standard Ashe voice with no full new voiceover recordings.

Release date: January 6, 2023. The skin was issued as a commemorative release and later placed into the Legacy Vault after 2 patches, where it remains unavailable for normal purchase until the next Worlds or MSI event.

DRX is a Worlds winner skinline made to honor DRX’s 2022 World Championship run. Riot released these as team-themed skins tied to the roster. The skins debuted on the PBE and launched with Patch 13.11 on June 1. They celebrate the team’s “unbreakable” theme and each pick links to a player’s signature champions.

This release also includes a Prestige variant (a separate premium sub-line). The core set contains 1350 RP skins, and the prestige edition is a 150 Mythic Essence reward for collectors.

Lore: The DRX skins lean into the idea of resilience and teamwork. Visuals nod to the team’s miracle run from play-ins to the finals.
