Prestige DRX Aatrox wraps the Darkin in a sharp white jacket with flared, spiked shoulders, navy trousers with gold piping, and a bold gold chest emblem, replacing his base’s rugged demon armor with sleek championship fashion. The blade is wide and angular with layered blue-to-purple gradients and neon edges, and his horns curve upward in deep violet for a regal silhouette. In-game, abilities swap to gold, violet, and black with soft star motifs, gilded filigree, and clean light trails, giving his kit a refined, trophy-like feel compared to the raw, blood-red base effects. The skin celebrates DRX’s Worlds 2022 victory and carries subtle team color cues and a polished presentation that fits the World Champions 2022 line. Unique touches include the ornate frame patterns on impacts and the smooth, prestige-style gloss on slashes and dashes.
Release date: 1/6/2023, launched as the prestige variant of the World Champions 2022 Aatrox skin to commemorate DRX’s win. Aatrox received a full relaunch in Patch 8.13 (new model, splash, voiceover, and effects), which this skin builds on with custom VFX/SFX and a bespoke recall.
World Champions 2022 celebrates DRX’s miracle run and “unbreakable” theme with a clean, trophy-like look in blue, white, and gold. The skins hit the PBE in May 2023 and released globally with Patch 13.11 on June 1, arriving about a year after DRX won Worlds.
