Super Galaxy Rumble is a common skin that was released in April 2014. The skin was a fan suggest after a user posted concept art of the skin in the League of Legends forums. The idea itself was inspired by the character Simon & Kamina from the anime series Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.
Super Galaxy Rumble has several major model changes including Rumble himself and his mech. In this skin Rumble is now suited up in a space suit with a new visor while he pilots his super mech. His trusty mech has been completely transformed into a futuristic machine with a drill on the one hand and a flamethrower on another. Featuring a bright white and orange color scheme, Rumble really stands out in this new super mech.
The skin also includes several new animations for his auto attacks, abilities and recall.
In addition to the new model and texture changes on the skin, there are also new particles included. When using his abilities, Rumble now fires visible missiles that hit his opponents. When using his ultimate, missiles now fire from the back of his mech and land on the floor in a straight line.
When Rumble becomes overheated his mech starts to glow orange for the remainder of the duration. This is a good visual indicator that tells you when you can use your abilities again.
The skin also includes several new animations for his auto attacks, abilities and recall. When auto attacking Rumble now hits the enemy with his drill in a variety of different ways. Poking, lunging and slashing his opponents. Rumble also has a new recall animation where he jumps out of his mech and points his hand in the air while his mech mimics him and does the same thing.
Also included with Super Galaxy Rumble is several new sounds. These new sounds reveal themselves when Rumble auto attacks, uses his abilities or recalls back to base. There is also a new voice-over that speaks when using certain abilities. Released back in 2014, the skin has been available in the store ever since for 1820 RP. If you want to stand out in the top lane from the rest of your opponents, then be sure to head over to the store and grab this skin. Having been in the store for around 3 years, there’s no telling if Riot will ever remove this skin.
