Winterblessed Thresh turns the Chain Warden into a regal winter spirit who thinks he is Polaris, a primordial figure who grants wishes. Compared to base Thresh’s green, spectral look, this skin wraps him in purple, blue, and gold finery with a golden goat mask, icy horns and fur, crystalline limbs, an ornate lantern, and a sharp frozen hook.
In-game, the skin replaces his usual ghostly visuals with swirling snow and aurora effects in blue and cyan with subtle purple undertones and gold highlights. His Dark Passage lantern rotates to track Thresh’s position, and his abilities leave frosty trails that feel crisp and wintry. The recall pulls an aurora borealis down into the lantern, tying the Polaris delusion into his kit and giving the skin a mythic arctic vibe. This skin released during the Winterblessed event theme, which channels winter folklore and northern lights rather than holiday comedy.
Winterblessed Thresh also includes nine chromas—Amethyst, Citrine, Emerald, Obsidian, Pearl, Ruby, Sapphire, Turquoise, and Wreathguard—that shift the robe colors, metal trims, and ice hues while keeping the same elegant silhouette.
Release date: December 6, 2023. Thresh received an SFX refresh back in Patch 10.1, and this skin uses that updated audio base with a frosty, wintery mix.

It’s a strong pick if you want clean ice visuals, aurora motifs, and elegant gold trims, but “best” depends on taste. Many players also like Dark Star Thresh for its cosmic theme, High Noon Thresh for its wild west flair, Spirit Blossom Thresh for its soft spiritual style, Blood Moon Thresh for sharp red effects, and the legacy Championship Thresh for collectors.
