Fright Night Veigar turns the grim, classic dark mage into a small, hand‑drawn bonfire spirit: thick black outlines, cel‑shaded flat colors, and pencil‑scribble textures shrink his silhouette so his head floats above a tiny orange‑and‑black robe and an oversized wizard hat, a clear shift from the base champion’s full, shadowy body and heavy silhouette.
In-game, his spells trade heavy dark magic for smoky black VFX streaked with orange, featuring pencil-written runes and spirals. Q and R (Primordial Burst) share very similar patterns and missile shapes, though R replaces the central rune with a gleefully malevolent jack-o'-lantern face. W (Dark Matter) pulses with sketchy shadow effects and orange rune patterns, while his E (Event Horizon) constructs a cage of eerie streetlamp motifs instead of a plain magical barrier.
The skin includes new SFX, new emotes, updated basic attacks, a custom homeguard animation, and a recall where he draws spirals before rotating his head and vanishing—all reinforced by approximately 14 minutes of new voice lines performed by Scott McNeil. Overall, it's a solid redesign, though the biggest downside is his model, which doesn't look particularly impressive. Personally, I prefer Battle Boss Veigar, but this is a really solid pickup if you don't mind the model.

The sketchy Halloween aesthetic is charming, but the model feels somewhat undercooked compared to other Fright Night skins at the Epic tier. That said, the VFX—especially on E (Event Horizon)—are genuinely impressive and help balance things out. With Veigar's extensive collection of quality skins, this one doesn't quite reach the top, landing around a 7.5/10.
